The XML Connector is a very useful tool built on the capture functionality of the Import Agent. This component enables the user to import multiple documents into DocuClass, and then automatically index these documents based on their associated XML files. Essentially, the XML Connector utilizes the descriptive characteristics of XML data to shorten the often tedious process of importing and indexing documents. When tackling large importing projects, or when handling XML data from an external system, the XML Connector can save you a great deal of time and money.

XML Data

For example, an external ERP system might export a folder populated with invoices in PDF format. Each document has an .XML counterpart that contains the data for the fields and keywords for the invoices. As the user, all you have to do is point to the folder with all of these files, and the XML Connector will automatically import and index these invoices into the DocuClass system.
