DocuClass Standard Scanning is a very fast and practical component used for “scan on demand” requirements. With a few keystrokes the user can scan single or multipage documents, from any scanner or any Multi-Function Printer (MFP) with TWAIN driver, directly to DocuClass or any file system folder. When Standard Scanning is used to scan/index documents into DocuClass, the user has the following options:

• Pre classify the documents (assign the documents to a document type) and index the documents individually or in batch mode
• Enter only the value of one index field (unique keyword) for each document and populate other keywords later
• Save scanned documents as a pdf, tiff, jpg, or other file type
